This is why it’s wrong to imagine anything good will come from a so-called “conversation” about race. There’s no sense of equality here — you suppose that black people are morally superior to white people. You selectively curate examples where whites, and only whites, committed injustice. As if there were no other injustices in the world, or in history.

So damned right I’m going to “shirk responsibility” as you put it elsewhere. Don’t suppose for a minute that just because you’re black, or Native and I’m white that you get to tell me what my moral responsibilities are.
