I’m sure it’s familiar and comforting to downplay women’s faults and exaggerate men’s faults. It’s just cheap rhetoric to simplify the world and say that men who can’t measure up “too often” harm others, while two paragraphs prior you summarize the effects of women’s failure as “often” harming themselves. When men don’t have what it takes they rape and kill; when women don’t have what it takes they . . . well . . . they exercise too much.
Both men and women both suffer from toxic humanity.
